Error Messages during rebooting

I keep receiving the following error messages whenever I reboot.

- ERROR IN LOADING STRING XML ERROR IS 2

- RESOURCES DLL FAILED

I am using Microsoft XP Home operating system.

I use a wired ethernet Router.

My wired network consists of :
two computers and two printers.

The error messages only appear on the same one computer each time.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of these error messages.

Did you install Finally Fast PC? That's what this is:

Anyway, I found the source of the problem: O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Performance Center] C:\Program Files\Ascentive\Performance Center\APCMain.exe -m. I no longer have the start up problem cause I found out that when I click APCMain.exe the same errors come up like on the start up; so I got rid of the problem by deleting the folder that contained the APCMain.exe file.

glc - I do not understand your recommendation for getting rid of the error message. I am sorry. Could you please be more specific on what I should do to get rid of tne error message.
I would appreciate it. I am confused with what you sent me.

Is there some reason why you are not responding?

I'm not responding in a timely manner because I'm on a road trip with limited Internet access. You have installed SOMETHING which has caused that, and you have to figure out what it is and uninstall it. Did you read the link in my post?

If there is anything labeled "Ascentive" in add/remove programs, uninstalll it!
