Internet Options, Advanced - No Checkboxes
When I go to the Advanced tab in Internet Options the check boxes have disappeared. I tried the repair feature for IE. In Xsetup, all the options for IE are enabled, although I had never used this to disable anything, I did check to be sure.
I'm using WIN 98 SE and IE 6. Baffled. |

nevermind, i got it. very simple!
desktop theme changed color of 3D-objects to white which is the color of the background on that tab. |

D'oh!
Had some things like that happen occasionally myself. (usually I was on the fixing end of it, not the breaking end)
