Error code 4096.
hi, I have a HP pc with windows xp and my problem is when the PC startup appear a screen that say
nel_data-inpage_error. If I turn off and on when the PC startup I press F10 to try enter in system recovery but appear a black screen that say: File SETUPREG.HIV coud not be loaded. The error code is 4096. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit. I don't know what meaning that code errors. I thanks your help. |

You either have faulty RAM or a hard drive with bad sectors.
Ram diagnostics: www.memtest.org Hard drive diagnostics: Download from the hard drive manufacturer Diagnostics are provided in a format that allows you to burn them to a CD that will be bootable. |
