dll error
I recently reinstalled windows XP on my computer after reformating the hardrive. Since then when i log on i get a dll message box that reads "error loading C:/windows/ifahinal.dll.This specfic module could not be found" I have run CCleaner, malwarebytes antimalware, superantispyware, and avast antivirus with no threats or infections found. I have not been able to find out what this window function is so I am not sure if this is a problem. My computer seems to be running fine. thank you for any help and assistance

Did you reformat because of a malware infection? Did you zero fill the hd before you installed XP?

Did you spell the DLL file name correctly? Google doesn't show anything for it...Which could mean its a virus.

I had to reinstall windows XP and reformat the hard drive because my computer crashed due to a virus, hilota. I rechecked the spelling an it is correct.

A simple reformat doesn't always remove the malware, that's why we recommended zero filling the hd before a reinstall. I suspect you still have bits of the malware on your hd, probably not enough left to cause big issue but enough to be annoying.

Use CD burning software to burn this as an image, it's an iso, you can't just copy the file to a CD-R. |
