Win 2000 prof gpedit issue

Hello,

I'm new here and i'm having an issue with the gpedit on win 2k prof. As it stands right now when i'm logged in as the administrator and i go into gpedit and change some of the policies that i want it only affects the administrators account and not the other users. Now i know it should affect every user including the administrator but for the life of me i can't figure out why it's not carrying over to the other accounts. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm going to user config-> administrative templates. I have about 10 machines i'm doing this on and so far 6 of them have worked the way I expected them to but the last 4 are having this issue they are all the same OS and service pack.
