XP Video Thumbnails
I have an older PC with Windows XP on my network. When I access folders with videos in them the whole things grinds to a halt. The folders have mostly .AVI, .MPG, and .MP4 files. When I open any folder with these files in them explorer.exe starts using 100% CPU. If I let it sit for a half hour or so it will have gone back to normal and there will be thumbnails on the videos (which I want). However, if I close that folder and open it again the process starts over! Why does it regenerate ALL of the thumbnails every single time? I do not have this problem in Windows 7. Any ideas?
