Question How do you set up a program to open up where you want on the desktop?

Hello there,

Like the "subject line" says, "How do you set up a program to open up where
you want on the desktop?" I use "calculator" allot and I would like it to
open up at the bottom right hand corner of my desktop. I notice that every time I open it, it open at a different spot but mostly in the top left hand corner. Another program I use alot is a calendar(shareware) that opens always in the same spot in the top right hand corner. Other Win98 program, like "winipcfg" always open in the same place at the center of the screen. So I figured that there must be a file that I can tweack so that calculator always open in the same spot at the lower right hand corner of my desktop. Anybody out there
knows how to do that?

Many progs will have a *.ini file that will include desktop locations in it, so that it will open up where you want it.

Others will just record the values from the last time you opened it and reopen it in the same spot.

I don't believe MS Calc has such a feature, but I could be wrong.

There are a number of excellant freeware calculators available, though, do a search at any freeware/shareware site and you can find dozens of them.

I use RJ's Calculator, personally.
