Unhappy I can't see my OTHER Hard Drive. Please Help!!

I'm not sure if I should be posting this in the "Hardware" section of the forum but I'll try here first as it could be XP related.
I have two Hard Drives on my system (75GB IBM and the original 20GB Maxtor) and am now running Win 98 on one drive and XP on the other.
I just had the two Operating Systems installed "profesionally" as I was unsuccessful in attempting to do this myself.
I have to enter the "Boot" menu in my Bios Settings in order to switch between the two Hard Drives/Operating Systems.
The 75GB drive is the one running XP and the 20 GB drive is running 98. The entire 75GB drive is formatted in NTFS.
Before having this done, I already knew that the NTFS drive would not be recognized while I'm in the drive running Win 98.
But I SHOULD be able to read BOTH drives while I'm in XP.
This WAS the case when I first turned my pc on after getting it back from the shop with no software installed on either drive.
The FIRST piece of software I installed on the 98 drive was "Go Back Deluxe 3" by Roxio. I thought it would be a good/safe idea to install this before any other software. I've also installed "Panda Antivirus Platinum" and "Black Ice Defender" Firewall on BOTH drives.
Now when I'm in XP, I can't see my other hard drive when I'm in "My Computer"! I turned off all components of the Antivirus and Firewall in 98 in "msconfig" but the Hard Drive still isn't showing up when I go back to XP!
I haven't disabled "Go Back" as I just purchased this product today and am only familiar with it's basic features.
I've heard many good things about this product. I'm afraid if I disable "Go Back" to see if it's causing the problem, then I wont be able to go back to a previous registry configuration if I need to.
I did the full install of "GoBack" I wonder if this (or something else) is what's causing my Win 98 drive from being recognized.
As far as I know, I adjusted no other settings.
I won't be able to contact the Tech who performed the work for a few days. Besides, both drives were recognized in XP when I first took the pc home so I don't know what more he could do for me.
Also, if I go to 'My Computer' while I'm in XP and right click on my Hard Drive, go to Properties/Hardware, the 20GB Maxtor Hard Drive is listed as one of my 'Disc Drives' along with my 75GB IBM!
Could one (or any) of these programs be causing my other Hard Drive from being recognized?? Does anyone have any advice on what I could do to correct this problem??
Thanks in advance!

I think you have disabled the Win98 hard drive by accident in the bios.. XP does a good job of detecting hardware - but it will mostly not configure your hard drive - if it has been disabled in the bios..

What kind of Motherboard do you have ?
If this is a ASUS so you do not need to go into bios to change the drives for boot - this only on ASUS boards with the Phoenix - AWARD bios -all you need to do is when the computer counts ram and starts to detect the hard drives to press CTRL+ESC once on the keyboard this then will bring up a boot menu where you can choose from what drive you like to boot -

System specs - if you have them would be a great help..

I've just solved the problem! It was the "Go Back" software that was the cause of it. For some reason "Go Back" did not allow my 20 GB hard drive from being recognized after it was installed on it.
I installed an XP version of "Go Back" onto my 75 GB drive and then was able to see the other Hard Drive.
However, I have since removed this piece of software from BOTH my drives as it was causing 'Blue Screens', Hardware Compatibility issues, and crashing both of my Operating Systems!
I read good things about this product before purchasing it but I was on the phone with Microsoft Tech Support for almost two hours trying to correct my problem(s). Microsoft said there are compatibility issues with XP and this product, even though I installed the XP version of "Go Back 3".
I would not recommend this product to anyone running two Operating Systems on one machine because it will affect the Master Boot Record. Whatever "Go Back" functions are performed on one Hard Drive will affect the other Hard Drive automatically! It is a VERY POWERFULL tool for someone using Win 98 exclusively though.
BTW Hpro,
My System Specs are: Dell Dimension XPS T600 upgraded to a P III 1000, 384 MB Ram, GeForce 2 Ultra, ATA Ultra 100 Controller, SoundBlaster 5.1, Intel 440BX Chipset.
Thanks for your reply...
