NVRD32.sys driver

Hello all,

I have a Dell Inspirion Mini 10.0 netbook and I have not used it much in the past year and it is runing Windows XP. I booted it up after about a year of not using it and it said that NVRD32.sys cannot be found. Where can you go to download this file? Also, if I reboot the computer after this message appears, I have the option to load in Windows XP and when it does the computer works.
Any ideas how to fix the message error?

Thank you.

That is a raid driver if I recall correctly. I would start with downloading CCleaner and run the registry cleaner a few consecutive times until no errors found. No need to save a backup of the registry. That may solve it alone.

Download CCleaner 3.18.1707 - FileHippo.com

That appears to be a common issue with the Dell netbooks, and I can't find a viable solution. I'd consider backing up your files and doing a system recovery. Ctrl+F11 at startup should get you into the recovery manager.

I have had CCleaner fix that before and I believe it was a Dell.

You need to do a clean install so I recommend you to wipe with Killdisk. I used it and I loaded XP pro without any problem.

I would NEVER use Killdisk on a computer with a recovery partition.
