User Accounts

I seem to recall once when setting up limited user accounts after the fact, that there were issues doing some things (like printing) or maybe using some software. Anyhow, I want to set up a limited account on the church laptop. I presume the best way would be setting up an administrative one and then changing the current one to limited. Is that correct? That would keep the existing documents and such accessible.

You already have administrator but you won't see it except when you bomb out of login using another user.

You should have a guest account which is probably inactive. Activating that is a choice when you go into user accounts in control panel.

Yeah, there is a guest one. Maybe I can rename it. I am trying to make it less difficult or annoying for the people who use it as possible.

No, do NOT rename the guest account.

Reboot into SAFE MODE and the real Administrator account will be available. Use that to change the existing account to limited. While you are at it, you may want to password the Administrator account!

That sounds like a good plan. I was unaware of being able to access another admin account in safe mode.
