Exclamation Removing items from the Add/Remove programs list in 2000

I have a 2000 server that there are a few programs listed in the Add/Remove programs list that don't have an uninstall file associated with them any longer. Apparently some goof went and deleted an entire drive without first removing the programs installed there. Is there any way short of re-installing those applications to remove those items from the Add/Remove programs list?

Thanks again

Thumbs up

You can do it with TweakUI.

Not with that version of tweakUI you can't. I had already installed an older version and removed it prior to installing this version but neither one has the add/remove tab in 2000. Oh and I found out that it's just 2000 not Advanced server.

Try removing them directly through the registry under:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall]
