Win xp on second drive, now master
I've installed windows xp on a hard drive and set the drive in the master/black position, slave/gray position is a 5 partition drive with win9se. I set both drive jumpers to cable select. Master has 2 partitions. Second drive/slave does not show in my computer. D: on the master is not formatted, so when I go to open it, I get a message asking if I want to format it now. When I check the Properties on D: I do see the second hard drive which is a maxtor, so I know windows found it. Is it possible for me to get XP with NTFS format on master to recognize the other partitions with FAT 32 on the slave so I can transfer data?
