Angry Fire Dial up Connection Problem

Hello,
please help me with a problem. When I access Outlook express, or IE6, My Dial-up connection box comes up as usual to dial my iSP, but with one difference now: It is requiring me to enter my password before connecting, this naver happened before, and also, the boxes that you can check to "SAVE PASSWORD" and "CONNECT AUTOMATICALLY" are greyed out. I have to put in my password, and then hit the connect buton. I went to the SETTINGS button, saw that my password was not entered there either, soI entered it, but the check box for the REMEMBER PASSWORD is greyed out there as well. Whats going on with this? any help?? Thanx in advance, Tim

You need to have at least Windows LOGON or Micorsoft Networking enabled in windows Control panel - Network Icon - check it out ..

Open up IE 6.0 >TOOLS > Internet Options >CONNECTIONS > SETTING > are the USERNAME PASSWORD OPTION enabled.?

If this doesn't help then - Uninstall DUN and reinstall DUN..this can be done from Add/Remove Hardware.. Windows Setup ..
