desktop icon text color in XP pro
I know this is probably a really stupid question to ask, but just how do I change the darned text color? My backround is white, so having white text isn't all that great.
Of course I already tried looking in aperance, advanced and changing icon color, but the box for that is grayed out. |

in that advanced menu in the appearance, if you click on the window or select "window" from the drop down menu, the bottom box chooses the font color

By default Icon names should adjust them auto - as soon the color of the screen changes..but anyway will try that on the XP machine -
