How do I copy and paste a DOS window to Clipboard so that it can be pasted to a BBS? I'm using W98se.

Open the DOS window.
If it is in full screen mode, hit alt+enter to make it a window.
In the upper left, the first icon is MARK.
Select it.
A blinking cursor will appear.
Click and drag to the bottom of what you want to copy.
Click on the second icon, COPY.

Then use paste in whatever the other application is.

galaxion,
Its the story of my life. I'm trying to get a Tracert copied, but because it has 30 timed out requests, it uses more space then there is in the window. Is there a scroll command or something? Even in full screen about 1/3 of the picture is hidden and I can only copy what is shown.

I don't know of any way to scroll the dos window.
As I indicated in one of your other posts, use
TRACERT {ip address} > c:\somename.txt

Then one the Dos prompt reappears, close the dos window, and open the TXT file in Notepad.

You can add |more to the end of your dos command, now dos will wait for you to press a key when the screen is full.

Send a message via Yahoo to azscary
I use Win 2K and in the DOS window right click in the window itself, and then click select all. Then right click on the title bar and click copy then paste where you want it.
