If a subfolder of \WINDOWS\TEMP is older than 5 days, contains only files that are older than 5 days, and the computer has been rebooted many times in the last 5 days is it ok to delete the subfolder?

Delete them subfolders.
If you'r still not sure, move them. Then reboot. If no problems. Delete them for good. If there are problems, move them back. But Im 99% sure you can discard them folders. |

Hi bractals,
As long as you aren't using that particular folder to hold personal files in, you can pretty much delete all the files and folders in it. Windows will let you know which ones can't be deleted (because those are the temp files Windows is currently using). I regularly delete everything in the c:\Windows\Temp folder without any problems.
