Question

Need help customizing the receive mail sound alert. Are their any more options than the little click sound that it makes when I get mail now? Is this a customizable option?

Thanks,

TH

Could it be the one in the control panel - sounds - new mail notify.

If not find the sound file and rename it. Replace with the one you want (same name as the old one)

no new mail notify.

What about changing the registry entry? Any ideas where the entry would be?

As an MCSE, I can confirm that the Sounds item in the Control Panel is the right choice. Take a stroll through all the events that can be assigned sounds, and you will find "New Mail Notification." Highlight that little guy, and click on the browse button to find the sound file you want to associate with this event. It's that easy.
