losing time/time & date display

Is there anyway to adjust the time and date display? My daughters MSI k7 pro 2a
is losing about 1/2 hour a day.

sounds like it's about time for a new battery on the motherboard. it looks like a watch battery on steroids [about 3/4 inch round]depending on make and it clips onto the motherboard to provide backup power for the "clock" and a few other memory items.
as for adjusting things, go to control panel and you will find......time and date. as hpro always says "it's not as hard to do as you think, it's just that you try"
