Brightness control
I had win2k and i would set my brightness up a little (in Display options - Settings - Advanced). I would do it because my monitor is a little dim as it is (with manual brightness at the highest it gets). Anyway i needed this for playing Counterstrike.
Now i upgraded to winXp and now when i set the brightness and go into counterstrike, counterstrike resets the brightness. Why does it do this and is there a way to prevent it so i can actually see in dark places? Thanks |

Buy the night vision goggles...sorry, couldn't resist. No idea though. Did you change the Gamma setting in CS to its max?

LOL, i actually didn't think of that.
But i have now solved it. I just had to set the brightness, then reset my computer, then go to the game. Thanks |
