Correct me if i'm wrong, but....
Here is a scenario, let me know if I've got this correct. Lets say I have a Win98SE computer on a LAN and a Win 2000 Pro computer on the same LAN. The Win 98SE's File System is FAT32 and the Win 2000 Pro's F/S is NTFS. I should be able to read shared files on my Win 2000 pro machine from my Win 98SE machine, correct?
I just wanted to throw this out ot brush up on people skills

Yes, it is possible to read the shared files, even though one system is FAT32 and the other is NTFS.
