No Sound Devices

Hi All
Upgraded from 128 to 512MB Rambus on 1.3 P4. Resulted in many problems, which I’ll describe later; but for now, I’m down to one...NO SOUND. May or may not be associated w/upgrade.

Start-Settings-CP-Sound and MultiMedia
Sound & MultiMedia Window-Audio Tab has no preferred devices listed.
Wheredo I go from here? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi palladrj,

What OS are you using and what kind of parts are in your system? What soundcard are you using?

Was your system working well prior to the addition of the new RAM? Did you remove the new RAM?

Hi Cricket
Thanks for your reply. Please read "TV Sound OK, No Sys Sound" in the Graphics Forum for a detailed description.
