windows 2000 and exchange 5.5

I'm in need of moving my exchange server from domain 1 to domain 2.

I've setup trust relationships, created a new service account on domain 2 with necessary permissions. I've added the service account from domain 2 to exchange's Org, Site, Config and schema. No problems.

Problem occurs when i try adding that same account to the system attendant service. I get an error stating the new domain (dom 2)does not exist or could not be contacted.

Any ideas?

thanks

It's two domains in test environment, each with own DNS but in same subnet (192.x.x.x).

problem was solved. Was a DNS issue....adding the user and password manually worked and the browse issue was resolved by adding the new domain's DNS server to the Exchange machine.
