fqpissed Where'd my desktop go??

Win XP Pro crashed on me and I had to reinstall. But the desktop defaulted to a generic one and has no icons on it. I can go to a command prompt and see all the programs and directories from my previous install but there are no shortcuts to them on this new desktop...any ideas?

You can right click on the various items in the start button list (such as my computer) and check "show on desktop" or you can right click and have a shortcut created on the desktop for some items.
