I have a fired employees comp. Windows 200 Pro. Using it at home, off the network but onmy home connection (DSL) ctrl/alt/del screen takes me to use/pass screen but no entry can be gained. how can i get past this to tweak the settings? help.

A moderator note to heed
While I appreciate your concerns in not being able to log into a system that is rightfull yours or yours to administer, I'm afraid that this thread cannot be dealt with if it has to do with bypassing security settings on a machine, and therefore will be shut down. This is especially true since we have no way of guaging intent over the internet. Please make sure that you have the administrator password or the employees password. As a sysadmin yourself, you can appreciate why you follow such a stringent policy on here.
Am leaving this open for now hoping that all it is, is a case of a missing password, the moment we see anything that is a security compromise we will have to shut this thread down. Thanx for understanding. |

Been putting in the wrong pass. A little help from my wife and POW!!
