failure to load operating system

Hi,

Got my new build together. during the xp setup the harddrive format got stuck on 11%. I waited a very, very, very, long time. when i restarted the computer i got "failure to load operating system". i have no idea how to fix this any help would be great. good night everyone.

run the XP setup program again, re-partition and re-format drive(s) where XP is to be installed, see if it works this time, if not I would download some kind of drive utility from the manufacture website and test the drive. If this is a new build with a new harddrive the drive should of came with a disk that has something like this on it, use that. Last if none of these work get yourself a win98 floppy boot disk start your computer from this disk and type this at the command prompt:
>fdisk/status
post what it says and we'll go from there.
