Browser Freezing

Hi,

I am running XP with IE6. Suddenly a strange thing is happening. When I am browsing and I click a link which opens a new window, the window opens but the page does not download. Both browsers freeze, and I have to use Task Manager to kill the session.

This happens on any site, every time. It's very frustrating.

Please, any ideas?

Hope fully it may offer more clues if I say that I just installed Netscape and it runs just fine.

The problem is just with IE....

Reinstall IE6, it was probably corrupted when you installed XP.
