Creating Dual Boot after XP is already installed??
Hello All,
Is there a way to creat a XP/ME dual boot with XP as the original OS on the system. I've created several dual boots by installing ME first, then XP, in which M$ creates a boot manager. But how about with XP as the original OS?? Is there a different boot manager that will let me do this. After a system meltdown due to some bad memory, I decided to solely install XP, but I'm starting to miss a dual boot for some some games I can't play in XP thanks for any help Vlad |

Create a 2nd partition on your hard drive using fat 32 as the file system,Install ME there.
Then follow the instructions in Hpros instructions. another option is to run XP after the installation of ME and click on install and when XP asks if you wish to install or repair, choose repair, hopefully XP sees the 2nd OS and will then set it up as dual boot. |

I tried doing this with 98SE and I had endless problems, mainly because I had used the NTFS file system for XP. The 98SE couldn't install because it couldn't use the primary partition as required.
