CDRW recovery
I have a rather important document on a CDRW disk that seems to have become corrupt . Is there some kind of freeware that can recover it.
Thanks |

and when you did that, ( move it from the hard drive to the cdrw)
you were useing windows xp right if so, then you need to open the file on the cd with windows xp, only it will see the data correctly. it it was copied to the cd with direct cd then what you are trying to do would work. xp puts files on a cdrw in such a way that other programs don't read it correctly. just put the cd in the writer drive and use windows explore to look at the cd and the file will be there, and readable |

No, it is not windows XP its windows 2k. I dont think it is possible to recover as the disk is physicaly damaged in a certin area.
Thanks |
