Angry Fire Can't boot XP without xp boot floppy

Hello All.

Well, I recently had to reinstall XP PRO on my box but my mbr is screwed up cus whenever I tried to install it, 'ntldr missing' would always come up. So I made an xp boot disk with ntldr, ntdetect, boot.ini etc. on it.

This works fine to boot up XP, but I don't want to have to rely on this floppy to boot it.

I tried copying the files from the floppy to the boot partition and switching the boot order for the computer to see the c: drive first, but it never works......it only works when I have the floppy starting first?

If i'm not being specific enough, lemme know.
Thanks
