quicken/win me
reboot here is what i got from quicke
Note: Windows ME was not available when Intuit was developing the Quicken 2001 software, so we are currently unable to verify, to our satisfaction, the functionality of the product on the new operating system. Therefore, we cannot offer technical support for any version of Quicken on Windows ME this year. Quicken 2001 is compatible with Windows 2000 Professional and Windows NT 4.0 as well as Windows 98 and 95. We plan to test future versions of our software on Windows ME. A complete list of system requirements for Quicken 2001 is available on our Web site and in the User's Guide. |

Nicely worded although totally useless.
I guess it means that they KNOW there's a problem, but they're NOT doing anything about it for now. Can you backup all the important stuff, and attempt a total reinstall? |

Quicken 2001
After I installed WinME I purchased and installed Quicken 2001 and then restored with my old quicken's backup floppy. Everything runs fine. Hope this helps somewhat.

I also have Quicken 2000 Basic. It seems to work well without a problem. I backed up the data onto my zip drive and loaded everything onto a formatted partition. I then loaded Quicken and restored everything from the backup. It seems to work well.

Try Microsoft Money. I'll bet it will work fine with ME. I have heard many horror stories about Quicken's problems when you upgrade to a newer version of their software.
