Unhappy win-ini

i have a panasonic toughbook running win 95. After a recent problem with loadind a problem i have a message wich apears when i boot up and it goes in to windows. Three menu boxes apear.
Can find device, in one box
the file ws2_32dll file is missing, in another box
and in a third box cant find the dll file in the win-ini file either remove or stop any reference to it in the win-in file.

i answer ok to all three and they disapear but the macine lock untill it has looked in the a drive then it continues.

Also when i drop down the programs box the end 4 programmes dont arear intill the a drive ia checked.

I have a problem in device manager with the cdrom drive but i cant seem to get an updated driver.

On top of all this everything works ok.

The a drive is swaperbal with the cdrom.

Any ideas

Thanks Mick

First thing I would do is a complete virus scan.

Thanks GLC i downloaded Solo and run this.
It found 1 trojan and 3 worms. All seems ok now except after booting into windows a wininit screen is minimised and a illegal operation warning come up. I close both and all is ok.

Thanks.
