tcp/ip messed up?

Its a win2k machine. Cannot gain access to the internet.

Tried 2 differnet network cards.

I have tried the following:

ping 127.0.0.1 << Works
ping 192.168.10.113 << Works (IP i staticly gave it)
ping 192.168.10.10 <<< Works (gateway)

Cannot ping or get any websites. but the DNS Numbers are correct.

Any ideas?

I also tried this, click below:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q314067

Its for XP, but shouldn't matter.

I also can ping the DNS numbers, from a working box.

UPDATE:

I am also able to ping the DNS numbers on the machine that doesnt get web adresses. Hope this helps some.

thanks again for your time!

The 127 ping tells you the nic works. Tell us more about your internet setup. Is this the only computer hooked to the internet or do you have a router or are you sharing the connection through ICS?
