Should I reinstall XP?

I'm uprgrading my motherboard tomorrow. Should I uninstall XP and reinstall it after, or will XP be smart enough to understand what has happened and fix up the drivers? I know in Win98 you had to either reinstall it or use the enum trick. TIA
