Question W2K sp3 very slow login

Everytime I input my username password and press enter the CTRL ALT DEL screen seems to hang for about 40 seconds and then logs I can log in.

I used to have it set up in a domain, but am now stand alone.
I have used the pc for weeks (after removing from the domain)without this problem, this has started only a couple of days ago.
No new software was installed ???

Thats odd you would think it would have done it from the time you removed it from the network. It sounds like it is searching for a connection that isn't there.
You might try either resetting up your connections or deleting the ones you no longer need.

Yeah, that's what I thougt it could be so I only use the machine account and not the domain accounts.
Does anybody know of a utility that logs all the processes during boot up and log on?
