Microsoft Registry Parser

Came across the "Microsoft Registry Parser v.2601" in the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices section of my registry (it loads msrp.exe) but can find no mention of it on MS web site, through google or at Pacs-Portal. Anyone know what it is and what it does. OS is Win2k Pro

Thanks in advance

Thanks for that. I now need to do a bit more digging but at least I know where to start.
