WinXP - System Information?

Howdy all,

When I first installed XP Home, I could go into "System Information" on the Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools Menu and this would display a bunch of hardware & software information on my system. Now, when I try it, XP opens "Help and Support" and I can't get to the "System Information" as before. What could be wrong?

I checked the target of "System Information" under the System Tools menu and it's set to:
  • "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe"
It this the correct target? How can I fix this?

TIA

The target is correct.

What happens if you run the executable directly from explorer?

Try start, run and type “msinfo32” and enter. See if this will bring up just the system info.

Tried it, still brings up "Help and Support".

Thanks for the suggestions. Any others?

It works on mine, but I'm running SP1. I think there was an update for the Help and support, but I'm not sure what it was supposed to fix.
