net use lpt problem
Ihave this problem, I need to capture an LPT port to and IP Address. Have done alot of research and seems that net use can only go as far as capturing it with a sharename, for example
net use lpt \\server\printer /persistant:yes I have a HP Printer that has a built in Jet Direct, it acts as a dumb device, node on the network. Has NO name, so how do I capture this printer as an LPT port if I can't give it a name? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

Does your network see it at all?
