WinXP WPA question

Hi,

I have an ECS KS5A motherboard rev. 1.X and I am going to install the same motherboard, but with the rev 3.1X, I know that if you reinstall WinXP with the same hardware or if you install for example a new cpu or memory won't trigger WPA, I want to know if installing this new motherboard will trigger WPA, even though is the same motherboard with the same chipset.

Any help appreciated.

It might, it might not. I have done some board changes with completely different boards and had no problem, other times, it required it to be re-activated.

I just replaced my mobo, cpu and ram and had to reactivate, but I didn't have to make the call to MS which surprised me.

Thx shadow_man for the link. My mobo has an onboard NIC so that combined with the mobo, cpu and ram is what I thought triggered the reactivation.
