CF reader problems with win98
Hello all, I have a new camera that uses a compact flash card. I have bought 3 differant readers and none of them work. I have an early win 98 OS. I have installed and uninstalled these programs & drivers and still they won't work. It shows up as a drive in my computer & when I go to click on it the system freezes up and then nothing. Any help would be appreciated, this is driving me crazy. Thanks, Phil.

Hi Sixpk,
Can you provide more details about the system itself...AMD or INTEL and list of components used inside by make and model. Are the card readers USB devices? If your system is an AMD system, did you install all the necessary USB drivers, patches and such? Go to viatech.com and see what USB related drivers and patches are available for download.  Cricket
