I just got my broadband connection set up in my new place. All the router stuff works fine and I got my roommate's system sharing the connection just fine. In trying to share the printer, I was verifying the workgroup info on my box so I could make sure his system matched. I noticed that my system was set up as a business network and not home, so I changed that setting and rebooted. When the system came back up, over half my icons are gone, my Outlook Express Mail is gone as well as my IE favorites. Naturally, I tried reselecting the business setting and rebooted - I still have all the stuff missing.
I assume there's nothing I can do, but I thot I'd check and see if anyone here knows anything I can do. Thanks! |

I'm unfamiliar w/ how the Win2K profiles work. The network change had caused me to be logged in as administrator. I logged back in as myself and all was as before.
