system restore win xp
hi all
im having a problem with system restore, when i select a point to restore to,and the progress bar starts showing the restore being loaded,its stops about a quarter inch and freezes there or quits loading. i can set restore points different times and different days with the same result, i think ive check everything so that restore is turn on and running, need help thank you avery |

hi all
follow up on my post (restore problem) i found that i was in group policy and i diabled restore point settings, i should explain that im a diabetic and when my sugar gets to high im not with it sometimes,i made a point of not making any changes when readings are high, except a few days ago i broke that rule, lesson learned but i did want to say i learned a lot from this site thank you so much avery |

The only time I've seen this behaviour, is when the restore file(s) are corrupted, usually by a trojan/virus.

well i was wrong i still have the same problem, stops restoring files just before completing
