msinfo32
under msinfo31 i was looking at network, adapter. I shows all the stuff you would expect to see but why does it list a nic card that I toke out a month ago?
It shows my current nic card fine. |

When you took it out, you probably didn't remove it from Hardware Manager. Just right click on it now and remove it to save you hassles in the future.

Right click on "My Computer," select "Manage," and then click on "Device Manager." Under Network Adapters, make sure that the NIC you have in your PC right now is the only one listed. If not, remove the extra one.
If only one NIC card is listed, you may want to boot into Safe Mode and repeat this procedure. Sometimes devices are only visible in Device Manager when runnin in Safe Mode. |

I did as you told but it said can not uninstall, may be required to start the computer.. So I disabold it. (sp)
