Exclamation Outlook Express 6

Hi All:

I just upgraded to Explorer 6, and Outlook Express 6.

The only problem is Outlook Express takes 35 seconds to open
when I want to check mail.

The mail works just fine once it's open.

Is this normal for this upgrade? If so, I won't worry about it.

My System: OS:Win98 (with all updates), CPU Pentium II 400 MHz MMX, 393Mb Ram, STB Velocity 4400 16Mb AGP, Biostar 440BX motherboard, REALmagic Hollywood Plus video accelerator card, Cirrus 56K v.90 internal ISA Modem, Creative Sound Blaster 16 PnP, Acer 12x8x32 CDRW, Lite-On 16Xmax DVD, 36x MAX CD Rom, NEC 4 disk CD Changer, Ultra ATA/66 PCI Control card, 4 Western Digital Hard Drives 2 ea. 8.4Gb, 1 ea. 2.5, and 1 30.7Gb, Two 80 conductor IDE cables UDMA/66, 300 Watt Power Suppy, Logitec Quick Cam USB, Logitec cordless mouse, IE 6, Outlook Express 6, ISP AT&T Worldnet, MS Media Player 6.4.

All help will be very much appreciated, and thanks ahead of time.

Check under options and see if the automatically log on the MSN Messenger is checked. It is by default, so you may want to uncheck that!

Hi ktkendall:

It's unchecked, and also I have MSN Messenger set so it don't
log on when I go on line.

Thanks for the reply, guess it's something else.
