Resize Win XP drive
I got a brand new box with WinXP, installed SC-7 without a hitch. I cannot resize or do anything with the partition that XP made, It took the entire drive, of course.
I was instructed to run chkdsk /f to correct errors on the drive. Running chkdsk will report errors on the drive, but running chkdsk /f does not fix them. How can I get these errors off my hard drive, so I can use the resize partition utility? Thanks, Matt

Resize Win XP drive
Thanks GLC, But Chkdsk /r didn't work either. I really don't want to reload windows, or SC 7. Too many applications already on this machine. Any other Ideas?

Did you try Windows XP error checking?
In Windows Explorer, right click your drive icon and select Properties > Tools > Check Now. |

Strike Two, Error checking did not do the trick either.
I know that System commander 7 works in XP, I have it on my laptop, but that is Pro. Could that be the difference? |

Resizing XP
Finally got it. If anyone is interested, I went to Vcom's website to download the update for SC7. Bingo!
Smooth sailing after that.
