Hi,
When you install new software the instruction are to close all programs. With Microsoft operating systems before Windows XP you could use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to close programs. How is this accomplished using Windows XP when you do not see all of the programs operating when you use Ctrl+Alt+Delete? Thanks |

I think its the same way... Ctrl+Alt+Delete then just click the tab that says applications and it should show you the list as it does on any window version that i can recall....
When i install software I never close any programs and i have yet to have any problems.....

Hi CRL,
Look by the clock for icons of programs that may be running in background. If you right click on them you should get a menu with the option to disable or turn off the application. Shutdown open program windows in the normal manner. Cricket
