Question File Transfer Question

Can a WinXP NTFS drive be temporarily moved as a secondary master if someone wants to transfer data to a new drive with WinXP and again NTFS.

I think you can put it as a slave or maybe even your way just as long as it it isn't the boot drive since you might have mobo conflicts so it wouldnot boot,,,,i think i typed it okay,,,,,,but you should be able to slave it to transfer the files,,,

Yes,

All you should have to do is Slave it and copy the data across.

XP can read NTFS or FAT32, so you can also copy data across from a FAT32 HD.

Thanks guys ... so does this mean that even if the XB box has FAT32, I would be read the NTFS drive? In this case, I'll likely set it up with NTFS ... but was wondering.

Another option that I may use is to transfer through the network and possibly disconnect from the WAN.
