Install on both OS, but use the same location for both installs;
i.e.
C:\Win98
D:\WinXP
E:\Quicken
This way both OS have the application registered and both have access.

quicktime is a pretty good size program that does quite a bit, there are some smaller type programs that you can sometimes get to work without having to reinstall it. These are usually self contained type applications. I have a dual boot set up with 98 & XP and there were some programs that all I did was add another shortcut to the XP desktop without reinstalling and they worked.
