How can I find what file is causing this? (I have win98 2nd ed)

Hi force_flow2002,
The more info you can provide, the better. Try to look for the part of the error message that has a bunch of letters together with maybe a period mixed in somewhere. That might help indicate what type of file is involved. Do you have Norton Antivirus installed? If you do, did you disable the option to scan floppy disks when you exit Windows? Can you provide your system specs and maybe a list of all the background applications running on your system. If you have a lot of icons next to the clock, you have a lot of background applications.
