Service Pack 1 for XP screw up my internet??
Hey people
I was running fine till i got the XP service pack (i think). Then all of a sudden my connection is really crappy. My friend who is on the same network says that it runs fine, so i think the SP might have screwed something up? Like for instance: loading of www.pcmech.com is very fast, but places like www.download.com are insanely slow. Sometimes AutoMatic Downloading doesn't work. Stuff like that...i'm also going to check if its a virus, but i don't think so. Any help to speed up my connection would be great! |

also, as far as i know, its like it cuts the connection every couple seconds. Like for instance, i will d/l at 30kbs, then stop and drop to 8bytes/s. I can't figure out if i just need to reinstall the software or what
