hey all
I have a Compaq 1510US laptop, its got a built-in DVD player. When i got it, i updated the Divx Codecs with the Nimo Codec Pack. Then, i stuck a DVD in, but it gave me an error (that InterVideo DVD Player had to shut down). Then, i uninstalled the Nimo Codec pack, and tried putting the DVD in agan. This time, i got no errors, but it refused to play the DVD. I keep clicking play and nothing would come up. I think that the Codec might have over-written something essential to DVD decoding, but i seriously don't know what. Should i try updating to Windows Media 9 and getting the Windows Codecs? Or do i need to re-install my DVd player/InterVideo DVD player (that's the software). Thanks all |

Yes, sounds like at this point you have no software present to play DVD's on that PC. I would reinstall.
